Retired Senior Leader: Don Montagna 
Retired Senior Leader 
Don Montagna was WES Senior Leader from 1972 until 2006. During his tenure, WES grew from 150 members to a vibrant community of almost 400. His areas of special attention were Ethical Culture philosophy, community development, leadership development, International Partners, Coming of Age, and Relationship Building training. He is the author of Creating Ethical Community: Faith in Human Worth, an Introduction to Ethical Culture that answers 50 frequently asked questions.
Don lives in Silver Spring and Hood, Virginia. Since 1966, he has been married to Nancy Montagna, a clinical psychologist who is also a very active member of WES. Their two adult children, Mary and Daniel, grew up in our Sunday School and the WES community.
